DARE2CARE

Romans 12:4-8

For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
Looking after the needs of others.  Dare to care works collaboratively with other ministries in the church to provide tangible personal and spiritual support during difficult times as well as times of celebration. Sharing our gifts with others in need, bringing the hands and feet of Jesus to our friends and neighbors. If you need any assistance, email our office using our contact page.

Automotive Care
This ministry to make minor car repairs is a much needed part of Dare to Care. Please call to make an appointment.

Household Support & Assistance
Similar to our Meal Assistance, this area of Dare to Care is of great value to those who are unable to care for their lawn and home for an extended period of time. Our volunteers can provide occasional house cleaning assistance or lawn care.

Minor Repairs
Minor repairs to computers, automobile, and household items are the job of this group. If a lack of funds to hire a local repairman is an issue, our volunteers provide minor repairs. Please call to make an appointment.

Smoother Movers
It is this group’s hope to help relieve the stress of a move by helping load and unload belongings of those within our church family moving to, from and within Wenatchee and to help those in our community who may be unable to help themselves. Please call to make an appointment.
Cards & Calls
Our volunteers encourage those who are ill, recovering, home-bound, or simply in need of a pick-me-up. They send birthday, anniversary, get-well, and sympathy cards.

Meals
When a family has a new baby there is often a need for assistance with meals. When someone has just returned from surgery or has been ill for an extended period of time, a hot meal that someone else can provide is a blessing. Our volunteers provide and deliver these meals.

Transportation Assistance
For folks who need a ride to church or essential services, this ministry is very important. For those who have doctor appointments, or grocery needs, our drivers are valuable assets. Please call to schedule a ride.

Visitation
Our elderly or disabled are often home-bound and would love a visit from a friend. Our volunteers stop by with a word of encouragement and lift the spirits of those who cannot get out.
